adroitwastaken
I am using Vortex version 0.18.11 and I am trying to mod Skyrim Special Edition. I am using Windows 10, x64, and I have 8gb of RAM. I am using a bit of mods from nexus (86) but I also have quite a bit of plugins downloaded from the ingame client (bethesda.net, i believe.) I am using skse64 and it's worked fine. I have set it to primary. The problem I am having, is that only my bethesda.net plugins, SkyUI and Nexus mods I have reinstalled are being deployed and are showing up in the plugins tab.. I have swapped over from NMM to vortex. There are no error messages. If you would like me to take a screenshot of my problem, please explain which part of the vortex UI I should take one of, I'm new to this manager. PS: Vortex seems like a dream come true with automatic sorting, the ability to make plugins light and other such amazing features. Keep up the good work -Salsissimo
rmm200
Nice job on providing information. It is rare...Did you import your mods from NMM?Do any of your plugins show up after Deploy?
adroitwastaken
Imported my mods from NMM. Only the bethesda.net mods and mods i have installed after i downloaded vortex are being deployed. (realistic water two, elfx, skyui)
rmm200
There are things you can do wrong in the NMM import process that will leave your mods in Vortex - empty. On the Mods page, for each mod listed, use the drop down to open in file manager.Verify the mod looks intact. If it is supposed to have a plugin (esp, etc) make sure it is there. Any Data/Meshes, Textures, or Scripts should also be there.Unrelated - but also update Vortex. A new patch build is available. FlamingCheeseMonkey
Just wondering, but did you go to the game folder and verify that the files were not deployed? I'm asking because looking at the plugin page isn't a reliable way to check if mods are being deployed as not all mods comes with a plugin. The only surefire way is to right click on a mod, open it in the file explorer, and check for those files in the game folder.
adroitwastaken
All the esps/bsas are intact in the file manager, but they're inside a folder titled "62667" or other random numbers like that.

That's how NMM names the folders in the Mod Staging Folder. such as 62667 or 6122, or 548376 Vortex names the folders after the name of the mod, like: "Kagrenac's Wisps 1.06-6122-1-06" When you switched over from NMM, did you remove the NMM mods?
