I'm sick of Vortex, what other suggestions does everyone have?

Vortex is, to put it mildly, a steaming pile of dreck. I've had to uninstall and reinstall Skyrim twice now trying to fix a singular problem.

Is mod organizer still out there? I'm just now trying to get back into playing skyrim and maybe fallout and if there's a mod manager that works like they used to I think I'll prefer that.

If you want Vortex help, please provide more information using the guidelines found here: How to Request Vortex Support.

I've successfully used Vortex for over a year managing Fallout 3, Fallout 4, Fallout NV, Skyrim SE, and Enderal. It's a very capable mod manager that has revolutionized load order management and file conflict resolution.

If you've not done so already, you should view the tutorial videos available and read through the Vortex knowledge base.

On the other hand, if you have no further interest in Vortex, then do a Google search for MO1, MO2, and/or NMM. They're still out there.

it is clear from the content of your rant that you don't actually know what you are doing. there is no reason, not one single reason at all, ever for anyone to completely uninstall any game to fix a problem with a mod.

do not blame vortex, or any other mod manager for that matter on the fact that you absolutely do not know what you are doing. learn how to mod your game, learn how the mod that is giving you issues works. speak to the mod author or read the comments on the mod page and follow the instructions.

there are other mod managers out there, you know there are but, again, from the comments and the tone of those comments it is clear to me that you are too lazy to go off and find what you need.

your problems start and end with you.

change your tone, learn about what you are trying to do and then pick the tool that best suits your needs and you will be fine.

good luck. you're going to need it.
