JRC000
Yesterday I received an email which included by old nexusmods password and requested a payment of $900 in bitcoin to avoid all my data being published on the internet. I don't know if the investigation into the Nexusmods hack is ongoing but I can supply the original scam email if it would assist?
Dark0ne
Anyone with an account before 2013 was a part of the database leak. As your account was made in 2012 your account will have been a part of this leak. I know many people have received these emails and you can safely ignore them. JRC000
I had't heard of anyone else receiving these emails so thought I should make people aware on the forum. Thank you for the advice.
MV75
I keep getting password reset request emails. Damn annoying. At least three are from; IP address of sender: 5.76.124.
StarMystyk
I got those for a while. My spam filter caught them. I read one, deleted the email address it was coming to (I have my own domain) and forgot about it.Do they have a username and site to go with it? If they did it'd be worthless anyway as by now those of us affected by the breach should have changed passwords long ago.I only used that password here (long since changed) so it won't get them anywhere, IMO.
