Vortex will not download mods from the website.

Downloading mods via Vortex on the Nexus site will not work. When i click the download button a box pops up saying "Open URL: Nexus Mod?" but no download begins when i click confirm.

 

I'm beginning to think getting vortex was a waste of my precious time if they can't even make it function properly. Anyone have any clue how to make it work, this is really frustrating. I would include a screenshot but i have no idea how to make a screenshot smaller in size.

 

 

EDIT: Yes, I have tried the download tab in the settings menu. It keeps telling me "No change was necessary"

You had to change the SAME setting in NMM as well.

Apparently NOBODY checks the Settings Menus anymore.

Toggle it off, close Vortex

Open Vortex, toggle it on, close vortex.

Sometimes, when switching from something like NMM to Vortex, it takes a couple of times of "Turning it on and off again" to get it to stick.

It's a system quirk.
