alexdima57
Hi All I recently updated vortex only for it to not only forget the games that were being managed but to also forget the profiles on each game, I checked vortex's program files though and I did find all of my old profiles, however when I tried to add them again into vortex's profiles folder it doesn't register them. Is there any way to get vortex to register my old profiles/saves? Also I recently moved all of the program files to a new hard drive however I made sure everything was copied onto it. Any help would be very appreciated.
HadToRegister
How did you update?Did you completely uninstall the previous version and install the new version, OR, did you just update through Vortex (Recommended) and have it handle the install/uninstall? HadToRegister
OK, what exactly did you move to another drive? Were your profiles moved as well?Because it's sounding like Vortex can't find your profiles because they're in a different place

I also copied all of my profiles into my new drive to be certain. Also though the vortex folder from my c drive is still there I've also made sure all of my old profiles are there and it's still not recognizing them. Some Vortex stuff NEEDS to be in AppData It sounds like you're manually moving these files around OUTSIDE of Vortex and now Vortex has absolutely no idea where to find anything

Well, glad you got it worked out.And it's nice to see users who aren't afraid to "look under the hood" and get things working again! :)
