My Fallout 4 mods appeared in Fallout NV mod list

I installed Fallout NV onto a new SSD and moved Vortex over from my old one. When I started up vortex and ran the game detector, it found FNV but then prompted my with a box something along the lines of 'would you like to add these mods as well?' and I saw it was my Fallout 4 mods. So clicked allow/apply not knowing it was going to add them to my FNV manager. SO now I have my F4 mods cluttering my FNV mod folder. How can I undo this or move them to my Fallout 4 manager? Link is a screenshot of my FNV manager

OK, how do you have your Mod Staging folder set up?

It should be something like

Hard Drive Letter:\Mod staging Folder Name\Game Name

EX:

D:\Vortex\Mod Staging\Fallout 4\

D:\Vortex\Mod Staging\Fallout New Vegas\

D:\Vortex\Mod Staging\Skyrim Special Edition\

Hopefully you don't have it set up like someone else did

D:\Vortex\Mod Staging\Fallout 4\Fallout New Vegas\Skyrim Special Edition

It's D:\Vortex Mods\

Then its separate folders for each individual mod.

So Fallout NV and Vortex are on the new SSD and Fallout 4 is still on the old Hard Drive?

How did you move Vortex?

Did you just literally move the Vortex folder to the new drive?

How do you have your DOWNLOAD folder set up?

How did the move take place, and what was on the old drive before you installed the SSD?

Because it sounds like some config file went missing, and something wasn't moved properly. causing Vortex to mix up the two.

It sounds like Vortex lost Fallout 4 somewhere in the process.

Okay I installed Fallout 4 to the SSD and came across the same problem, so I made new staging folders and guided both the FNV and F4 managers to said staging folders, removed FNV mods from F4 managers and vice versa, tested it by installing a small mod for both games to make sure correct paths were followed and not installed into both managers nad presto fixed.

I guess I... jury rigged it.

And thanks for your help.

Excellent!

Glad you were willing to "work it out" and try troubleshooting in addition to any help/suggestions you got here.

Good job!
