Update Install Folder Mismatch

I've been having a problem when attempting to update to the latest version of Vortex.

After searching the forums for a similar problem, I am unable to find the answer for it. If the answer to the problem I describe does exist, please point me to it.

 

After opening Vortex and getting prompted that a new "major" update for the manager is available, I install the update as such.

My issue is that the update does not go into the folder I wish for it to go into.

I want the update to drop into my Mass Storage drive and designated Vortex folder, which is in my M:\Vortex folder, but Vortex will always drop the update into C:\Program Files\Black Tree Gaming Ltd\Vortex\*

As standing right now and browsing through Settings in Vortex, there doesn't seem to be any option to point Vortex to what install directory you want it to go to

(If I recall correctly, it's possible to do this with the install executable, but not with the full unpacked program, especially regarding updates)

 

I would rather not uninstall and reinstall, but if that is what must be done, then I'll do it.
