ok so i finally just beat the game. was pretty fun going back. i really liked going back to Fyrestone. that was cool. i always like revisiting previous games areas.

 

the ending wasnt very hard at all like others have said. 400 stacks of Anarchy and a rocket launcher took care of the Warrior pretty quick. but just like the first borderlands, the ending was fast and to the point. which again, i dont think was a good thing. idk what else they coulda done, but yea. when its over its over.

 

i probably wont go through a second play through any time soon. i still wanna try Maya (whom ive played a little bit) and Axton, but again, i dont really feel like starting another play through. so thats it with me and BL2 for a little while longer. ill deff go back to it. i have all the DLC so far but i just dont feel like doing much in the game right now. im not as attracted to it as i was with BL1. i feel no need to continue the game atm. im sitting at lvl 34 and unlike the original, i dont feel like going through NG+ and beyond or playing the DLC. but i think its because of how much i played the first one, that i find this one to be a lot less compelling.

 

 

also thought i would comment on that glitch i mentioned. it only happens online with people. if im going solo, ill only pick up ammo i need. if there are people, then it picks up all ammo. and as far as Eridium goes, i definitely see no shortage. in one questing group (so like 4 or 5 quests) i picked up something like 60 Eridium. and continued to pick up another 30 later and even more later. so for me, i saw no shortage or anything.

The cough main weak bosses are nothing to what you get in the dlc, its literally impossible to beat Hyperius or Pyro Pete the invincible without 4 players, even then its quite insane. Unless you farm master gee the cough rock way.

The dlc is the way to go.

 

If you want the upper hand its best to download them all, for the loot.

 

Also a new level cap is confirmed for January 15.

ok started to play the DLC, and all my weapons and equipment are already useless and underpowered lol. which makes this fun. now im sucked in again for now :P

EDIT: also figured out that me picking up all the ammo on multiplayer isnt a glitch, its because all ammo is shared when you pick it up. so even if i dont need it, someone else might, so i can still pick it up. and im assuming even if no one needs it, you can still pick up the ammo.

There is a certain glitch when you have two players with a single psn id, like loading up another character on another account but it registers as yours, the glitch revolves around the fact it doesn't save your dlc or badass ranks, not even your keys, but you keep them when ever you reload that character. LOL hence infinite keys, i have 11 of them and you could easily fill the entire sanctuary full of pink weapons. pink weapons in general are useless at lv 50. so i just sell them for cash. Its a glitch that's for sure.

thank you for that glitch Thor! i wonder why its 11, same for me too. haha but yea, i was stuck at lvl 43 in NG+. i couldnt kill Blue. he would kill me before i got to his third leg every time. but just farmed the chest for an explosive shotgun and that was that! plus i got a crap ton of money from the weapons i sold.

so i just finished getting the 4 trophies regarding the 4 starting classes' Specials. so now i have a little bit of time having playing all the 5 classes. My lvl 45 Mechromancer is my main toon. i have a lvl 20 Assassin (which i then speed leveled up to 31 for the trophy) two level 12 Sirens (whom i actually played) and now a lvl 25 Gunzerker and lvl 12 Commando, both of which i speed leveled (let them sit in the background as my Mechomancer played) just so i could get their respective trophies. so with those two classes i barely have any experience with. but i mention all this just to give a small background on my two cents on where i would rank the classes in terms of my personal enjoyability. and as you will see they are basically listed in terms of which ive played the most.

 

 

Mechro - She is my favorite. probably due in part to me having played her the most. between her three skill trees she has a lot of flexability of how you can play her. and her Deathtrap is pretty good too. and can be specced to be very good. also, ironically, as the Girlfriend class or rather the Class with the Girlfriend Oriented Tree, my girlfriend enjoys this class to. mostly because she has a hard time seeing where the enemies are so she just sends out Deathtrap to kill/find them

 

Siren - Idky i enjoy her so much, but i do. something about trapping enemies is fun. maybe its the fact her Special can be used so often. maybe its the fact shes a support character and i often enjoy supports. but i find her to be very fun. and her Trees all ingrigue me. whether or not ill get to explore them to their fullest or not, idk (probably not lol. i cant see getting another toon to 50, even through speed leveling) but still, i find her enjoyable and im always looking forward to the next level.

 

Assassin - He was actually my very first toon. i was at first going for a Melee build. got to level 17 or so and i was already starting to do less damage and starting to get board of it. so i switched him over to his Sniper Tree and it felt like old times (my Main in Borderlands 1 was a Sniper Focused Mordecai) and it was very fun just sitting back and sniping things, getting into a hotspot and using his Deception to get some massive damage on enemies/bosses. snipers to me are always fun, especially in a game like borderlands so again, i was always looking forward to the next level or finding a better sniper.

 

Commando - I only played him enough to get the 100 kills with this Turret. and i hardly played a Soldier in BL1, but even before the game came out i was interested in him because of how you could upgrade his turret so many different ways. each tree has something good to offer his Turret, like the Nuke, or having Two of them, etc. this toon i could see being very fun at level 50, or at least around level 30 when you can reach the bottom of his Trees to get those cool Turret abilities. but my lack of time with him puts him low on my list only because ive spent more time with the others.

 

Gunzerker - Last on my list. he was the class i was least excited about when the game was coming out. and with my short time with him, was the class i least enjoyed. his Trees dont really have anything that make me go "Ooh i cant wait to get to the bottom of that" or "i cant wait till my next level!" his Special is pretty fun, i will admit, and it is fun just tanking everything and all the badassery that is his special, but like i said, for me, he doesnt have that Shine to him, that drive that would make me want to explore his Trees or to level him up.

 

 

so yea. haha for anyone that cared to read, what are your opinions on the classes? how would you order them and why? what did you or didnt you like about them? :)
