wizardmirth
I just noticed that my "downloads" numbers went down across all my mods, some more than others. I am wondering how/why this happened and if there is any need for concern?
Dark0ne
The counts have been faulty for a while now; it was easily noticeable with new mods as they all had the same number of unique downloads as they did total downloads which showed a clear problem. Today we ran a script to comb through the databases and come up with the real, true stats for the files and what you see now is the result of that. Everyone's files will have been affected by this in some shape or form. The only current issue to do with this as that the download counts on Mount & Blade Nexus are currently missing all the stats from before the move from MBRepository. These will be fixed tomorrow. Sorry for the issues.
wizardmirth
I noticed an unusual increase in non-unique downloads for at least one of my more recently updated mods and also noticed some posts on the forums that mentioned incomplete downloads and files being corrupted. Not sure if there is any connection but no one has personally told me that they ever had trouble downloading or installing any of my mods. Not that someone could have had issues and then just given up and not reported it. Just FYI anyway. Thanks for the notice.
apoc6400
uuugh...i just found this thanks to somebody pointing me this way. I had already emailed about it. Well like I had said it was kinda sad when i lost over 300 downloads and gained them on other mods hahaha. no more hamster dancing when i watch that download number. NaaluNaiglemez
What is interesting it is not Download Counts but the percentage : Download Counts / Total views x 100 (then the evolution of this percentage in the time : up - down - constant) Moreover it seems that " Total views " is not modified, it is not logical if Download Counts is modified.
