olano
This is my first time using Vortex. After an infuriating 30 minutes removing deploy errors (why this program does not detect the volume the game is installed on and deploy the mods there automatically is beyond me). After googling you have to select dashboard and set script extender as default launch option ( the UI is in desperate need for cleaning up and this convoluted mess is disgusting, NMM had far more efficient and clear UI), my mods will still not load in game. They say they are enable, I only have 14, and yet none of them work. I assume there is yet another mundane detail missing that isn't obvious due to this terrible UI. Thanks in advanced. P.S. I understand this post is negative but I feel I am expressing what the average user will feel when dealing with this UI.

Going by basic logic, I have already resolved deploy errors and enabled each mod at this point, yet they were not functioning. Prior to your post, I had to manually enable them each time in the in-game menu via the Mods options. I understand you are not a dev but maybe you have the answer. thanks. HadToRegister
Stop opening the in game mod menuWhen you start the game, is it loading the game LAUNCHER?IF so, then the Game Launcher is most likely disabling the Mods. You need to start your game with the F4SE launcher, which should have the settings set up in the dashboard like this(Your Drive and path may differ slightly)TARGET - D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\f4se_loader.exeSTART IN - D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4 Also, F4SE needs to be made Primary
