Scaaay
@Scaaay however when loading up the game, I'm also getting SkyUI Error Code 1. What does the message say? Are you using SkyUI SE? Thank you - I installed this and it works fine. Only issue now is not being able to open the OSA/OSex menu in game. No idea what to do at this point.. :(
HadToRegister
Did you also make sure to put the DATA\SCRIPTS folder in the SKSE zip file into the game directory too?
Scaaay
Did you also make sure to put the DATA\SCRIPTS folder in the SKSE zip file into the game directory Hey, I'm re-installing Skyrim SE as a whole because I think I may have perhaps messed up a few files on the way. In regards to installing SKSE as a mod correctly, doesn't this file you mention (which isn't meant to be there) automatically go into the Skyrim SE Data folder once added on Mod Manager? Just checking before I add it back in, as the tutorials I have watched all say to add SKSE on Mod Manager. Thanks

Thanks I prefer to install it manually rather than to mess around with the "Turn SKSE into a mod" stuff, as so far it's caused more trouble than it's worth, and most of the Script Extender not working, and SkyUI Errors are caused by it. It involves two steps [ Installation ] 1. Copy the .dll and .exe files to your Skyrim SE directory. This is usually in your Program Files folder under Steam\SteamApps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\. If you see files named SkyrimSE and SkyrimSELauncher, this is the correct folder. Do not copy these files to the Data folder as with a normal mod. The "src" folder is only useful for programmers, most users can ignore it. 2. Copy the .pex files in Data\Scripts\ into the Data\Scripts\ folder of your installation. The .pex files are needed by all users of SKSE.
