reanne2000
I've seen a lot of people complain about Vortex and can I just say that it's been nothing but helpful for me, judging from my own experience using it.I quit Skyrim modding some time in 2015, only to come back last year (2018) when Vortex was relatively new. I couldn't find NMM anywhere, so I decided onusing Vortex in its place.Admittedly, it was difficult for me to make the switch. As a then newbie mod user (used NMM, and frankly I didn't have the time to learn MO2) I felt that there was nowhere for me to ask for helpregarding Vortex . But lo and behold, everything felt so intuitive. Slowly, I rebuilt my previous modlist (and then some), and I'm glad to report that Vortex has made moddingextremely convenient for me. The interface/UI in particular was extremely helpful for me and the automatic prompts really made it easier for me.I'm currently sporting 200+ mods, many of them script heavy. I'll be trimming them down and making bashed patches eventually, but I don't have the time to learn them as I have my hands full with real life commitments. Thank you for this, Vortex Team! AugustaCalidia
@3mimin3 If you have Vortex problems you want help with, please provide more detail using the guidelines found here: How to Request Vortex Support. Otherwise, you'll find updated versions of MO1, MO2, and NMM available for download at Nexusmods and GitHub.

Rodocastiza
Me too. My level of mod-usage is also intermediate, and Vortex is by far the best manager I have tried. I have nothing to do because the manager does all for me. I just download the mods, enable them and play. I had a small "complication" when I installed a rework for an old mod, which required installing the old mod and then replacing one file with the new mod, and I figured it how to do it in a few minutes. Making rules is also easy. I have read a lot of people dislike Vortex, says it is an alpha, ruined games... Well, I don't think I am so lucky to avoid problems. The manager works well.
