Vortex looking for a drive that doesn't exist anymore

I see. Thank you for your answer.

Why is vortex still looking for drive D?

Is it because of the registry entries?

I had no idea that this would have been so difficult to tackle. Obviously I would have done it different had I known.

At any rate those are the last two questions and I'm fairly positive I know the answer.

Thanks to both!

Because all of the mod info is also saved to .jason files with all of the old D:\ paths

It's how Vortex keeps track of all of the mods and loose files etc that it installs/uninstalls

I have a similar issue, the drive I had my vortex managed games on died on me, and now whenever I launch Vortex it'll nag at me about games that are no longer there. There is as far as I can see no way to tell Vortex to "forget" about those games, and since they don't show up anywhere in the UI that I can find, I don't know what I can do about it. Would be really nice to just have a "forget about them" button somewhere, or some way to un-manage games that no longer exist

And no, I'm not changing my drive letter as the whole folder structure is different (and better organized) this time around, so it wouldn't help anyway.

And we really shouldn't have to go hacking up the registry for this.

I can live with the nagging popups, but some way for Vortex to figure this out (with user input) would be much appreciated.
