Vortex' Screenshot Utilities - port to New vegas

As screenshot artist, I would be very happy to have glorious FreeFlyCamera utility for FNV (the one that makes possible diagonal rotation of camera). As one exists only for F4 and Skyrim, I assume it is impossible to make with ENB.

But there is mod for Oblivion that has this feature - Vortex' Screenshot Utilities. It uses OBSE, so I assume it would be possible to recreate this feature with NVSE and latest JIP LN plugins.

Hope someone will be interested in it. :)

As I see in description, none of them gives ability to rotate camera in TFC. By rotating I mean this effect:

New Vegas is the only game who doesn't have this feature for screenshoters yet. :)

You are talking about the "roll" aspect of the "pitch, roll, and yaw" (PRY) control of the camera. (All the "rotational" control was the planar "viewing angle" around the object under observation.) The real question is if any of the NVSE teams saw the need to implement the "PRY" functions on the TFC camera before this. (A quick review didn't turn up any obvious camera related functions.) The description of the "3D Camera" in the tutorial doesn't mention anything about changing the axis of the camera itself though it does mention an "experimental" first person perspective from the camera with WASD movement and "mouse motions will now control your camera point of view" controls.

(I've never tried to use FRAPS for screenshots, but it might be worth a try.)

As I understood, there is specific OBSE plugin that adds functions for Camera - CameraCommands OBSE. It was removed from nexus, but there is link to it in Comments section of Vortes Screenshot utilities mod. I assume it would be possible to port on NVSE.

I know it's not what you're looking for but it is doable via Photoshop and I assume other editors, use Nvidia's DSR or whatever AMD's equivalent is to up your resolution if needed and then tilt and crop the result, it takes less than a minute. Obviously you'll want to zoom out slightly to take into account the edges you lose from cropping.

Yes, it can be made with PS, of course. But the more tilt I want make for shot, the bigger resolution I forced to set to have space resource for normal rez picture, not saying about forcefully edit ENB setting so it can use non-native resolution for the game. Every shot forcefuly take time to make big res, make shot, edit it and resave. Having proper plugin would make it at least 20 times facter (1 sec instead of at least few minutes to change res, load game, make shot, edit it in PS, re-save it then change res back to normal).

there's got to be a reason why other games have it and not specifically Fallout New Vegas.

Not neccesary. For example: I was sure that there is no possible way to make rigged wigs-hair for FNV because Oblivion has it for many years already and FNV/F3 didn't have even one mod with something like that. I was sure that there is something that prevent them to work.

I tried to make some in Blender and - viola - it works perfectly, no technical issues. So - yes - there is mods that wasn't made for FNV because... Well, because nobody needed it before. :) I don't know if there is NVSE functions in NVSE and JIP that needed for such mod, but I am pretty sure that if there will be request - JIP will add them. Like he did for lots of things that didn't existed before.
