MonkeyLou807
Hello. I downloaded the creation kit and messed around being absolutely clueless on how to get these mods to be compatible with Skyrim: SE. How do I change the form for these mods? >Also, I can see that someone tried explaining the steps but it made no sense to me as I'm new at using nexus/vortex/skyrim mods in general. rmm200
As a new mod user, I recommend against doing your own conversions. Wait until you know what you are doing. Mods downloaded from the Skyrim SE section of Nexusmods should never get that warning. If you get your mod from the Skyrim section of Nexusmods, and the author says it is compatible, ignore the warning. If the mod does not work on Skyrim SE - report it to the mod author and uninstall it. No harm, no foul. Not a Vortex problem. Edited to add: incompatible plugin may refer to an skse dll. Skyrim uses 32 bit dlls. Skyrim SE uses 64 bit dlls. The Creation Kit will not help you fix that. Unless you are good at C++ and Visual Studio, you will not be converting them.SKSE will simply ignore a 32 bit dll in Skyrim SE, which might be OK for some mods like Devious Devices. To change from Form 43 to Form 44, you simply load the mod into the CK and save it. However, this doesn't guarantee that the mod will work properly in SE if it has scripts etc.
