asbj0813
So, winter is coming aswell as a new heap of games across all consoles. But what are you waiting for? Any specific games you simply can't wait till you get your hands on it? For me, it's Assassin's Creed III. I'm totally hyped, partly because of the whole new setting(although I would have preferred Britain, but I really shouldn't complain), but also the new features such as sailing, which will hopefully be freeroaming. Also a whole new story promising even more twists and turns is in store for us, aswell as a new multiplayer arch. I personally hope, that this game will feature even more levels like Hagia Sophia and The Forum of the Ox(ACR), and Outguned and Loose Canon(ACB). What's so great about these levels are, that they are action packed, and allows for some incredibly cool parkour moments. Also, some of the locations feature new areas, like the warmachine memories in ACB. I really hope there will be even more of these, and that many of them a featured in the game already, but also that there'll be smaller downloadable packs with one or two of these missions, aswell as the option to use those Uplay points for even more of them! But now it's your turn, what are you looking eagerly forward to?
moonlightbaaae
For me, it's Halo 4. Oh my gosh I can't wait. I've been playing Halo since Combat Evolved. Huge fan right here. My friends and I have been playing together since we all bought our copies. Ugh! I'm dying just to play the game. I've been waiting just to finish it since 2008. I haven't been on my Xbox in a few months, Halo is the thing that's gonna bring back to consoles. The trailers got me hyped up so much.
ziitch
I'm waiting for prices to come down, and I know I'm not the only one who's doing the same. For instance, I'd like to try out Dishonored, but not for $60 - I'd rather just wait until it's at $30~$40 before I buy it. hoofhearted4
im not waiting for anything for the rest of the year. Dishonored looks pretty good but i have too many games still on my shelf to continue buying more. one of those games is AC:Brotherhood, so needless to say, atm i could care less about AC3. got two more games in the series to go before i even get to that one. but yea, Borderlands 2 already came out and it was the only game i was waiting for, Metal Gear Rising in February is my next game i want. ziitch
I think Kojima and some other console vets are starting to get the right idea - Most fans and/or players move on to another device as their maturity and needs progress over time, and staying with one console developer can possibly kill off your original fanbase. Most of the oldest of MGS fans are likely now at the PC level - They have a computer that's designed to serve many more purposes and responsibilities that life bring, but is also been designed to play powerful games like Ground Zeroes. I think those who grew up with games these days do have more of a desire for a PC release instead of just a console release because, in all honesty, we would rather want just one thing that can play the games we want when we are at home, be it past, present, or future, instead of multiple consoles to deal with because of exclusivity, and more importantly provide the best bang for the buck - And so far, the PC has been the closest one to meet those needs. ...Does that sound about right, fans of old series and post-fanboys? Would you rather be able to enjoy a series you grew up with on a device that's compatible with it and with your lifestyle instead of only with what they want you to play it on? asbj0813
@ziitch, I understand your views on this matter, it would indeed prove far more convenient to make a one-time investment in a powerful PC instead of depending upon console releases. And when it comes to Bethesda games, then there's no doupt that I'll choose to play them on my own PC. But I'm just one of those people who can't help but enjoy the feeling of a joystick(be it PS3 or Xbox 360) in ones hands and sitting in the couch or a comfy chair in front of a good ol' TV  As for you other guys, then Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is also pretty high up my list, although i first have to finish Portable Ops, Peacewalker and MGS 4. But 1-3 were some of the best games I have ever bought, it was a true experience worthy of the gods to play these games. Everything has been thought about: Level design, character, graphics, music and last but not least, the story. Real masterpieces in my mind. Glad I was glad that I choose to get the HD collection after having finished the orignal MGS which I bought at a very good price. Best 40 dkr ever spend in my life! So, when I get to the point where I can play MGS GZ I'm sure to even more excited. And then, when I have finished them all, I'll go ahead and play them chronologically. RitualBlack
I'm waiting for prices to come down, and I know I'm not the only one who's doing the same. I am also waiting for games like Borderlands 2 and Dishonored to drop in price, (and for Fallout New Vegas to go on sale). A game I am eagerly waiting for is Hotline Miami. It looks like one of those games that could keep me busy for a while  .
