Games to play while waiting for Fallout 5

Oh my god, it is very quiet nowadays.

It is like I see a ghost and that ghost say to me "Ya, very quiet right?"

These are the games that I buy while waiting for Fallout 5.

1. Might and Magic 6 (people told me on FB that most games copy from Might and Magic and I see similarities with FO4).

2. Red Dead Redemption 2 (people told me to buy it on FB, but my cousin told me to wait for the price to go down about 1 year ago).

3. Postal 2 (this is like the crazier version of Fallout 4).

4. Gabriel Knight 2 (adventure game with real actors and actresses, this game is very advanced in the 1990s).

5. Until Dawn (adventure game which allows players to save or kill off characters, similar to FO1, 2 and New Vegas where your actions matter).

Fallout 5 will take years, maybe even a decade before it will be released, I think.

TL:DR You should add more games to your list .

I wait at the moment for Cyberpunk 2077, Crossroads Inn, Wasteland 3 and maybe I will buy in the new year Hell let loose. For the last title and Cyberpunk 2077 I will need a better computer, but I plan to buy a better one shortly before of the Cyberpunk 2077 release.

I guess those games will cover me up for a year, maybe more. At the moment I play WoW and Conan Exiles (only in singleplayer) and sometimes some Total War besides it.

Besides I also play sometimes Skyrim, or Fallout 4. Even though my Fallout 4 playthroughs ending always up as test runs :|.

Fallout 4 - there's a ton of expansion mods coming (F4 New Vegas, Capital Wateland, Miami, etc.)

Any of the upcoming games similar to F4 (Cyberpunk 2077, etc.) are only worth playing if they will support modding. Ever since I learned about modding in F4, no game seems as good as it can be with modding.

That's true - no game developer will ever be able to beat a viable modding scene. But Conan Exiles as example has also a ton mods, even I just use 2 there "Push it" and "Wayfarer Shrine". Wayfarer lets you telport from 1 point to another in a lore friendly way and push it lets you take builded things like walls in to your inventory. Both mods are great if you play it like me in singleplayer.

Far as I know, Cyberpunk will also be modable maybe. The devs are not sure about it yet and I also wait for Fallout: Miami and all the other big mods that maybe coming out for Fallout 4 (and still also for Skyrim!)^^.

Don't get hyped for Fallout 5 or TES:VI

Look at Bethesdas latest releases. All of their latest releases were s#*!. Unfinished and sloppy patched together games, focused on MTX.

Fallout 76 didn't even have interactive NPCs, because of the "player experience", which is a very poor excuse for not bothering and implementing it later.

"The players rebuilt Appalachia and now the people (npcs) come back" ---- 'rebuilding' by nuking the s#*! out of the landscape. Even their explanations suck nowadays...

I don't trust them anymore. The whole industry has gone mad.

Fallout 4 and Skyrim is probably the last playable and mod-able Bethesda game as we know them.

I thought about playing the dead space series again but... EA ruined it. I thought about playing the mass effect series again but... my face is tired ruined it. There is nothing worth playing right now really. The end of this month we get that lame worlds game and in november we get another doom game. We get mechwarrior 5 on dec 10th they say but I bet they push it back again. Starfield... when is it what is it? We already know the answer it is moar MTX to satisfy their additional invenstors as that one recent video on youtube explains.

We don't really have anything except capital wasteland mod and F4NV mod and maybe that evil CC mod that was delayed. Gaming is getting really boring these days almost like the industry is trying to make a whole lot of nothing on purpose.

I bet, some east european, japanese and russian companies will happily fill the gap when ea crumbles someday :). I am not worried about new titles. Also thanks to mods Skyrim&Fallout 4 will stay on my plate for the next years.

I was about to write literally that very same post. F5/TES6 will most cetainly be some microtransaction-ridden P2W crap, potentially always online, too...

The whole industry has gone mad.

I feel similar about it, and starting to think of myself as being out of touch with modern gaming. This type of thing has already happened with movies in their time. I've got so used to being disappointed in games by now that I don't wait anything good from the forthcoming releases. Not even Cyberpunk 2077 or Death Stranding, that so many people seem to be hyped about right now, get me excited. Fallout 4 is the only game I'm playing now, and I wouldn't have touched it again after two walkthroughs, had there not been Start Me Up and BLD, and a ton of other great mods. Perhaps they spoiled me in a sense that I now look at gameplay previews and can't but see stuff that could be improved, corrected or added to, which the developers most likely aren't going to bother doing.
