Hi,

So i'm going through the DefaultCoreGame.mod file and am sort of understanding whats going on. But I had this thought; what if someone were to go through it and organize it a little bit more with ;notes so that modding 'noobs' (such as myself) can clearly see what the in game affect of the change may be?

If someone were to go through this and make those changes and upload it to the XCOM Nexus I would be so inclined to donate a monetary amount toward them?

On a side note the Second Wave options; are they part of the game originally? Or are they modded into the original Balance Mod?

Thanks

XD

Someone already did... see the stickied thread here:

As for Second Wave, devs already responded about this:

Common guys, this is 2012 :)

Use Git for versioning control and GitHub for the hosting of it. Just makes life easier. :)

Hi all,

sorry if this has been covered, but I can't find a solution anywhere.

Any time I double click on modpatcher.exe, I get the message:

".NET Framework Initialization Error

To run this program you must first install one of the following versions of the .NET framework

v4.0.30319

Contact your application publisher, etc., etc."

Am I just doing something wrong? I've tried placing all three files into the Win32 folder found in both My Documents and Program Files folders. Also tried just launching the .exe from desktop, but I get the error no matter what.

Thank you for the quick response!

You can't see it, but I'm doing a facepalm. Such an obvious answer.

Thanks, again. This mod is exactly what I was hoping for.

Might be a question already answered but can this work on current campaign saves? I have gotten it working on a new game but not on old saves. Thank You and Good Work!

@blulav253

Depends on what settings are changed, if things are created and saved no, like a soldier creation

Oh ok thank you for the reply. Yeah I wanted to try to increase the deployed squad size by editing the skyranger_capacity and use most of my elite soldiers in one mission lol (without starting a new campaign). Thank you!
