Problem:After downloading and installing (AND DEPLOYING) many of the top mods on this site, running the game through SKSE, it seems like none of the texture/mesh/graphical mods have any effect. The game looks like crap. All these mods are enabled in vortex, deployed, LOOT identifies them, and i've run the fixes or whatever that it tells me are necessary with SSE Edit. I start a new game, it's clear that some mods work because the New Life mod is activated and I don't get the vanilla cut scene. However all graphics look like a 2010 game still. My pc is more than capable of handling it. I know it can, because I was using mods on skyrim standard edition up to now. My save file got too bloated and saving took 2+ minutes so I got the special edition to fix that and to get more content available, but thats a different story.
