Maharg67
61.2[86] They moved onwards only to reach, in that much bigger chamber, what seemed to be a dead end. Despite a large amount of effort, by those especially gifted in find in such matters, they found no secret door or anything like like it. Perhaps they would have departed back the way they had come from but with shimmering energies both Shyla’s and Saraa’s groups materialised out of mid air; the two sets, of newcomers, had been given just enough warning to prepare for the teleportation; the warnings had come as powerful, but subtle, mindwise messages that all but the robots, and androids, picked up. With the newcomers came unexpected extras such as modification kits for different kinds of power armour, some exotic tech including weapons and Undeathites including two undeathspheres and eight undeathlings. Power armour was being altered, to better deal with zerotech side effects, and the other tech was being investigated, when with a small background grinding noise the whole chamber proved to be a massive elevator; it sank slowly-steadily downwards through the lower GrandPlug or so it was somehow sensed that this was happening. Maharg67
62.1[87] The already fragmenting SLEWS was gone, the development surprising next to nobody, and the Democratic Free Republic of EWS, the DFREWS, came into existence. It was soon unofficially called the Demfreerep. The other two factions, the True Progressive Union and the Patriotic Union Enforcement, made a surprising move and flowed together to become the Quadtowertown based Patriotic Progressive Polis, the PPP pronounced as as the ‘triple P’. A bloody purge saw multiple deaths and the fleeing of many former members of the earlier factions. The TriInstitucorp fully supported the new nationstate along with two other, mysterious, factions. The Packraiders came to oppose it even as it was revealed that their homeland was NeoAtlantis, a truly massive submarine like city floating deep in the ocean just above the continental shelf. The great supercity kept moving slowly-steadily in order to be harder to find but had other, secret, ways to keep itself concealed. Reports came to the Pentadel of increasing fighting between PPP and NeoAtlantis forces giving the Demfreerep a chance to build up and not just militarily as both the TechOrderhood and GaiaOrderhood kept on supporting along with three secretive factions just risen to the role. The Axisclaven was stalled, to the south, because of troubles with its overstretched supply lines and difficult guerilla fighting with locals. The NewConfederacy was also facing a possible civil war with some factions attacking road using Axisclaven supply convoys or even aircraft with missiles. Maharg67
Made a mistake in misusing the surname 'Craham' instead of that of 'Grendalson' that should have been used. That is in Posts #98 and #99. The Grendalsons are the criminal family while the Crahams are of good reputation.
Maharg67
63.1[88] The Irons Family were reawakening to certain facts even as the slowly-steadily descending, massive, elevator chamber kept moving down through the Pentadel Second Below GrandPlug. They were far from the only ones gaining new abilities. They, and others like them, were not originally from the MultiWorld but did not know, as yet, where they had originated from. The Crahams were also reawakening and were linked to the Irons Family. The Irons Family discovered that they were genetically related to the Dukies and others of what was now being called the WarQueendom including the WarQueen619AO, WarKing12321 and the WarDukedom. This meant they were somehow oddly linked with the PaleOneFamily and even perhaps the now growing LittleFateFamily of Demicelestrials. The criminal investigation continued in PentadelTown despite that the three formerly dead Grendalsons had fully resurrected; this was because of questioned that needed answering and the strong possibility of other crimes being solved by information provided by a changed George Grendalson. The question of why-how, they had been brought back to life, was one that did not seem possible to answer. There were too many puzzles that seemed to be impossible to find solutions to. Maharg67
64.1[89] A soft shudder went through the great big elevator chamber which, considering how strong it was, was saying much about what ever was attacking it. A strong sense of antinatural malignance seemed to permeate through the wall. Which was when the elevator chamber came to a grinding stop and the only noise was then the steady pounding against one wall. A large section, of the opposite wall from that, opened outwards and then vanished by sliding sideways out of sight. As the pounded upon wall began to collapse the collective force began a carefully guarded retreat along a thankfully large, fairly gently sloping, rampway tunnel. When the wall collapsed through it came a great, corrupted, rotting-regenerating, tentacle like a fleshy thing made of multiple, formerly natural, entities melded together. It seemed to be made up of mostly of what had once been humans. A firestorm met it and slowed it down but did not appear to do it too much damage as it for it kept unnaturally regenerating even as projectiles and energy attacks kept striking at it. Only the newly gained UV based xolaserguns, xoflashmissiles and xoflashshells seemed to do it greater damage along with the attacks by the Solarites there. Drawn by the hunger, to consume life energies of mind-body-spirit, it kept coming as it drove to sate the insatiable ‘hungering’ that was the curse of such entities. PaleOneBrother hurled, as a true Demicelestrial, a special crystal sphere through the air that flew just above part of the great monstrosity and there was a great flash of yellow-white light but also other energies such as green, purple and blue coloured. When it was gone so was the creature leaving a great empty space. PaleOneBrother spoke. “It was a victim made up of victims that suffered terribly. They are all now in a place of healing-restoration that one can not speak more of at this moment. I fear that it will not be the last, of such zerodead abominations, that we will encounter or even the most powerful. The HighCelestrials gave to me a very small amount, of their vast power, that was focused through that truly ancient device that was loaned to me; I have now a dozen others of varied power being one prime, three secondary and now eight more basic ones since I used one of those that has returned to the HighCelestrials.” They moved on, along the tunnel, with the old plan of dividing up into smaller units having been given up on at least for the moment. They came to a heavily armoured airlock of safety and security. Behind the first big door was a large chamber and an airlock door on the far wall being also heavily armoured. After the big first door was closed, and relocked, the chamber was investigated. A big long row of large wall lockers, light armoured metal, were mostly empty but the others had in them items of general, or possible, usefulness. Carefully placed against the opposite sidewall to that were bodies in strange preserving jelly capsules that soon proved to be keeping the 15 entities alive but in suspension. Clearly the semitransparent capsules were far more sophisticated than they seemed to be at first glance. It was decided to take the capsules along with them, if possible. For the first time Stella’s special new ability went into action. She spoke even as she ‘projected’ herself into one of the capsules. “Particular entities, of outworld nature, help keep the subjects alive at the price of a very small, ongoing, feed of life energies. The subjects are constantly fed by various means. The capsule entities also feed on any waste products given by the bodies. They are naked but with, each of them, some gear stored in oddly effective ways. The capsules are quasiliving entities and need to be respected.” Stella projected herself, as a phantom avatar, through the second armoured, powered, airlock door. She was find herself faced with a third airlock door and a second airlock chamber with more big lockers, some utility stations, four side doors and 12 more of the exotic capsules with lifeforms preserved inside them. Maharg67
4.1[6] The PaleOneHunter dropped, with amazing speed, even as a bolt of energy was shot at him. Thankfully it was much slower than the speed of light as in laser weapons. It exploded against a superconcrete wall but only left behind a black scorch mark that would soon be erased by the smart material itself. The PaleOneHunter fired a big, vaguely revolver like, pistol that hurled one pulse of energy that split into three, all striking the shadowman. The entity cried out in agony and fell to the floor but as a man in the Prewarday coveralls of a military caretaker; he was not dead but was in an unusual coma like state. Then he vanished with a soft shimmering as he was claimed by the GodCelestrials to be granted a new, better, future for the man had both suffered and learned from that suffering. In the pitch blackness was, to the PaleOneHunter, an even blacker shapeform. The shadowman was a secondary avatar of the Shadowlord that it served as a slave. It had once been a mortal human of the local world but after the Shadowlord ConsaquincCal had somehow managed to get both to that zone, and into the OldPentagon, it had enslaved-transformed a few humans. Only dark karmic humans, or other humanics, could be so enslaved. ConsaquincCal was a coward but a large minority of Shadowlords were. Why it was there, lurking in the background, was due to amazingly complicated-subtle transdimensional politics but it came down to the Shadowlord having fled from the dark, hard, justice of the Shadowjudges. The PaleOneHunter lowered his gun. “I have transformed your last shadowman back to human, all who gained redemption through great pain, and have destroyed all but three of your shadowlings, sending them back to your home realm for ever. I want you to return to the ShadowDomain and face justice for your many crimes but only after you tell me all that you have been up to since you arrived here shortly before Warday.” The massive bolt of energy struck the PaleOneHunter, hurling him through the air. He struck a wall and rebounded with amazing speed and agility. Then he was crouching with one gun in each hand being his PulseRevolver and his three barrelled semiautopistol like BlastoMatic. ConsaquincCal was gone, along with its surviving shadowlings and what ever powerful entity that had rescued him. That PaleOneMan did not bother being disturbed, or angry, but at once starting finding traces to use to track the culprits. Though he was after ConsaquincCal, on an exotic kind of contract, from the Pale/1/3\9\Adjudication, he was chasing a long list of targets with differing goals and priorities attached to each.
