SkyUI 3.0 Mod Configuration Menu

Those of you who have been modding for Fallout: New Vegas probably know The Mod Configuration Menu (MCM) by Pelinor.

During the last few months we've been working to create something similar for Skyrim as part of the next SkyUI release.

While the SkyUI 3.0 is still a bit off, the MCM part should be pretty much feature-complete, stable and documented.

That's why I decided to upload an alpha version to get some feedback from other mod authors.

If you have never heard of MCM, it's a framework that allows mods to create custom config menus.

For more details, have a look at

, in which he showcases what we've got so far and what you can expect from this alpha release.

So if that that sparked your interest:

Here's the most recent testing package: SkyUI 3.0-alpha4

The documentation can be found in our GitHub wiki.

Requirements:

Skyrim Beta 1.8.151

SKSE Beta 1.6.5

I'd appreciate it any modders out there could give it a try and see if you manage to build a custom menu with it based on the documentation we provide so far.

I'm closing the post with some screenshots the users over at the Bethsoft forums posted so far:

> 12 hours and no reply? All mods busy playing with XCOM and Dishonered? :ermm:

I followed Gopher's video, scrutinized the screens and had a fast look through the documentation, seems to be really easy to use. I must say this looks marvellous! You and the team should be proud what you have achieved.

I have not yet released anything for Skyrim but when, I certainly will use MCM to make it easy both for me and the user. The power of this framework can't be neglected!

Oh wow MCM for Skyrim will be fantastic. So many mods using so many separate configuration systems right now, getting them all collaborating under one configuration system would be so much more functionally helpful.

MCM for FONV was a godsend in that regard, I was beginning to wonder if it was going to make it over to TESV or not.
