Wookie120
Does Vortex manage No Mans Sky like it does say Skyrim or Skyrim SE?

Wookie120
So I would just download to Vortex like I do with Skyrim SE? Or do I have to put a new folder in the NMS File and manually download to it?
HadToRegister
So I would just download to Vortex like I do with Skyrim SE? Or do I have to put a new folder in the NMS File and manually download to it? That's how it's supposed to work.Yes. I'm managing Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, Fallout 4, Skyrim SE, Oblivion, and Morrowind with Vortex, Vortex should properly set the download folders so you should see something like D:\Downloads\Fallout3D:\Downloads\FalloutnewvegasD:\Downloads\Fallout4D:\Downloads\SkyrimseD:\Downloads\oblivionD:\Downloads\morrowind
gfreeman1
Just wanted to chime in and say that I have been successfully using Vortex to manage mods for my current NMS playthrough, which is around 50 hours in. While the number of NMS mods I am handling with it is tiny compared to FO4 and SSE, I haven't come across any issues yet. It automatically created a "nomanssky" folder in my VortexDownloads folder on my NAS as well as one in my staging folder on my SSD, without needing to do anything special, once I added the game to Vortex.
