Simple concept for climbing mod

This idea's been bugging me for a while, it SHOULD be relatively easy to someone with the knowhow, but alas, that's not me xD

We're all frustrated by the horizontal line you have to "walk" along a glass wall once you reach a slightly higher inclined terrain, even if it's half a foot from where you need to be. What if the player could just walk up a whole extra range of terrain, but at a much slower speed? (slower the higher inclined it is?)

Seems like that's VERY close to how we usually climb a slope, and it would require no animations. Slowing the actual walking animation would be very fitting once the concept worked, though.

I was always amazed that there are NO climbing mods, I think this could be a very creatable workaround.

Any opinions?

The question is if you can access if via Papyrus or if you need to write a SKSE plugin for it.

Maybe detecting the player & NPCs altitude related to the sea and calculating the last second (or less) variations in altitude when walk or running, and then determining the output speed at each moment would be possible and easier. The speed change would result a delay of that second or less but it would be perceived naturally because the natural acceleration/deleceration of the bodies.

I hope someone with papyrus os SKSE experience creates the mod. It would be a great immersion improvement to the game.

I've been hoping for a climbing mod for a long time, but alas, I don't have any scripting skill. And I don't want to try to learn for just one mod. :s
