argenirgames
Hello! Upon trying to mod my skyrim, I came across Vortex. Amazing tool...untill it disabled all the plugins when I opened the skyrim launcher. Before all this, I downloaded mods, and everything went well. Untill I had messed up my skyrim.ini and skyrimprefs files too much. I decided to download new ones from a mod on nexus. These files were so clean and organized. So I moved my original ini and prefs files to the document folder, added the new ones, and then upon opening the game launcher, all mods disabled. Any expert out there? Thanks for any replies

Modding isn't anywhere close to easy huh? All this mess simply because some textures weren't downloaded properly, so I had blue giants and bushes all over skyrim :/. Kind of regret not studying more programming or so...

Could it be I messed around a bit to much with the files? The only things I changed were these: iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=15 iMinGrassSize=70 iGrassCellRadius=2bAllowCreateGrass=1bAllowLoadGrass=0bGrassPointLighting=1b30GrassVS=0iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure=15 iMinGrassSize=70 Else I made sure not to download sse mods, and made sure the mod list is properly looked upon (what should order before and after each other). I also use SKSE if that helps any.
HadToRegister
Rename the ini file you changed to something else, and let Skyrim regenerate it, and try starting the game again. Also, it would help to see a list of the mods you're using, because missing textures and a crash on starting is definitely a big problem

Should I also rename the pref. file? And hmmm, very tough to link saved images here it seems. I believe though that SMIM, Verdant and flower fields are the ones that crash, seen as those are the ones affected
