argenirgames
Rename the ini file you changed to something else, and let Skyrim regenerate it, and try starting the game again. Also, it would help to see a list of the mods you're using, because missing textures and a crash on starting is definitely a big problemWhat should I rename the ini file? Should I also rename the pref. file? And hmmm, very tough to link saved images here it seems. I believe though that SMIM, Verdant and flower fields are the ones that crash, seen as those are the ones affected Rename it whatever you want, you just want Skyrim to have to make a new ini file Did you make changed to the PREF file? You shouldn't have to rename that one, it only has the prefs you set in the game IIRC Yes I changed some of the prefs file, nooby as I am. Hmmm, just attempted to make a new game, and got errors for skyui, racemenu and hdt heel mods. Says I don't have skse anymore while I clearly do so... idk
rmm200
Keep in mind - if Steam updates (as it often does), the Skyrim launcher fires up - and skips SKSE.Close the launcher and launch it again through Vortex or from the game directory. It will be fine this time.

If I load skyrim through Vortex, it freeze upon loading an already existing character, or it shows errors saying "skse does not exist" upon making a new one, then crashes straight after. Did you set up SKSE properly in the vortex dashbaord and set it to PRIMARY? Your paths will be a bit different, and you'll be using skse_loader.exe instead of skse64_loader.exe Then set primary

As a first time user of Vortex, and english not being my native language, and additionally being a lil dumb 18-yo, I tend to miss out on things. Like that XD

Like that XD Ok so the game runs smoothly now, but I've got yet another problem. Upon character making, I use racemenu + the precache killer mod and cbbe. For some reason ajusting the weight slider too much will cause the game to crash
