Mods not showing up

Hello,

 

First time user with Vortex and decided to grab it to mod Monster Hunter World on steam.

 

I downloaded SmartHunter overlay for the HP bars on the monster and did all the installation that I've been reading on the forum posts so far.

 

Here is the steps I took:

 

1) I downloaded the Vortex installer (none custom) and attempted to install and deploy the mods. I downloaded the most recent up to date version since 11/20/2019

2) Then I tried to run the game through Vortex after I deployed the Mod.

3) Game didn't run at all.

4) Uninstalled Vortex

5) Downloaded Vortex custom and installed it to the D: drive where MHW is installed

6) I re-deployed the mod and ran the game. Game ran through vortex but the mod didn't show up at all

7) I deleted all the mods in the Mods Staging folder and re-downloaded/redeployed the mod (no dice)

 

The only thing I can think of that might be an issue is what I read from an earlier post. *Is the Mod Staging folder in the same drive as where the game is installed.

 

Currently the Mod Staging folder is in the AppData folder under Vortex/monsterhunderworld/mods which is in the Admin folder (assuming it's C: drive) and the game is installed on my D: drive.

Other than that I don't know what else I need to check for.

The highlighted text is exactly what your problem is, there was no need to uninstall and download the custom version and reinstall it, all you needed to do was move the Mod Staging Folder like this
