Either titled update or CTD, with references to the reddit conversation, some with direct links to the files, and the whole notes about needing to rename the files after download. And yeah, I ended up redownloading fallout 4 since the day before all of this had happened I had gotten my account suspended on Planetside 2 for reporting a guy that was one shotting MBTs (main battle tanks) and lightning tanks with a starter carbine and then another guy piloting what the game calls a "reaver" which is basically a VTOL. No matter how much damage he took he would not die, its an old hack a lot of older planetsiders know about. I of all people know how ridiculous it is to think someone is hacking in planetside 2, because its not a FPS kind of game, its more of a war of who has the better gaming device. With that being said, I myself have been accused of hacking when going on kill streak after kill streak. But this pilot took 3 of us mossies, a Dolton, a insane amount of lockons that would've easily killed bigger game. But yeah -- rather that is what I suspect I am suspended for since I'm one of those keep to them selves type of gamers when it comes to MMO's. With that being said, all I had left was a bunch of boring games like mabinogi, warframe, and spacelords. Another thing is, I literally managed to salvage all of my old files -- mods,saves, wyre bash information, etc. So far, everything looks fine and dandy but I just need the Fallout4.esm to see if the game first doesn't crash on launch again, then if everything is fine. I'll have to double back and check mod compatibilities and etc just to be safe as well. I just hope I can continue on my sunshine tidings jungle pet project..... really glad I saved all of my blueprints too.... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

(i've been waiting on that 17 GB download to finish since before posting this. I checked my network in steam and it seems to still be downloading, but the fact that it still isn't done or have atleasted downloaded the final file I need is odd.) It's a total of about 574 megabytes for all three files. But they're hosted on a service with pretty good speed, so it's really not bad. Took me about 7 minutes on my broadband connection.Keep in mind that you have to rename a couple of those files, to exactly match the names of the ones that are already in your data folder.If you've updated your f4se you'll need to rollback that as well, since this rolls your game back to version 138. Ouch. It's been an extremely long time since I've been banned from anything. That's gotta suck, when you can't play SEVERAL of your interests, at the same time.
