wolfhorse60
This isn't a bug report, about community issues or vortex so I hope this is the right place. If not I apologize and please direct me to where I should submit this. I would like to suggest a mod category to put all mods requiring Creation club. Sorta like the sim settlements category, because I come to nexus for mods NOT the greedy CC. I understand this may be my own preference but I'm pretty sure there are many who feel the same way. I don't want to have to search thru mods and then realize it needs CC. I know there is a requirement tab/button but some mod authors are not putting the requirement in that section but rather in the text. For instance, Punk Outfit - A 3 Dog Re-texture This mod tells you in the text but not in the requirements. there are other mods that do this. This is just the last one I saw. This seems to be a great way for CC to get sales. Have people create mods that require something from CC. I mean that would be pretty sneaky and dishonest but we are talking about Bethesda.I just think any mod that requires you to buy something to work is not really a free mod now is it? So maybe putting all the mods that require CC in a different spot/category s maybe even label it paid mods lol. Personally I wouldn't even allow them on the site. Nexus has a great reputation and it would be a shame to have that name dragged thru the mud because of some people being dishonest or shady. You know what I'm saying? Just puts a bad taste in my mouth. Anyway your site, your choice, I just wanted to make a suggestion and make sure you were aware of this issue. Fortunately all of those mods have Description pages, (which everybody should be reading) IIRC, They can't put a Requirement for a mod that isn't on the website in the drop downAlthough, adding at least a "REQUIRES CC" would be useful in the Requirement drop down
Pickysaurus
Hey wolfhorse60, Thanks for the suggestion. I've just added a DLC flag for Creation Club content, as this is how we set it up on the Skyrim SE site. Obviously it's up to the author or the community to assign the tag to mods correctly. (If enabled, 3 community votes adds the tag)
