calotop
As the title asks, after the last update my FPS has been reduced to 10 fps, with or without ENB. What the hell is going on? Why do they keep insisting on updating this game? The modders do all the work for them to make this game works just keep your ****ing paws off of it Bethesda, please goddamn. So yeah, anyone else experiencing this issue? I'm using F4SE but the updated version.
cossayos
Why do they keep insisting on updating this game? To cash in, of course. As long as there are people forking out a fiver for a paintjob on a power armor, this will continue. My only advice is to back up the necessary files. exe, launcher, FO4.esm and Interface.ba2 in order to perform a rollback. StormWolf01
The latest version update has.... yeah. For some people, it really has broken their game. To the point of CTD right after launch. The fact that you're even able to get in, and experience the FPS hit puts you several steps ahead of some other people here on the boards. There were three files that the latest update molested. Fallout4.exeFallout4.esmInterface.ba2so your fps hit is coming from a result of 1 of those three files. Most likely a mod that isn't fully compatible with the new update. Are you experiencing really long or much longer than normal load times?Have you tried running the game without any mods active? Maybe on a new character? Virde
Not for me. I'm playing the updated game after updating F4SE and the 4 mods I use that rely on it (LooksMenu, Place Everywhere, MCM, and Extended Dialogue). No noticeable FPS drops or crashing. It could be a mod you are running that is suddenly conflicting with something they changed in the update?
parchedgoose
When was the latest update? I always run steam in offline mode and never install the updates if I can get away with it so I am not sure when this update occurred. I also have the back up of what rendition I am playing atm. I have none of their creation club crap so I could care less about their updates since I am finally running smooth for once.
rickcarufel
The steam update yesterday, 4/27/21, completely made Fallout 4 unplayable. There are serious problems with shooting and the mouse no longer works properly. Any solution? I already uninstalled both steam and F4 and did a clean install with no change. Also in the mods section my library has completely changed and all the Sim 2 mods and several others are gone. Looks like my mods library has reverted to a time a few years ago. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more help but if your game / load order is that sensitive to these new updates you should use Fallout4.exe Auto-Backup.
