Sheiko
I went to check out Vortex real quick since it looked new and shiny , downloaded a mod , decided I didn't really like the way it all looked so I closed vortex and went on to continue my game.. I never Enabled the mod I installed, in-fact I didn't even install it, It was just downloaded. I closed Vortex completely, like it couldn't detect any of my installed mods anyway, So I thought I was safe. Turns out I was Completely wrong. **Simply by clicking "Manage game" (**Once and non negotiable) My game can no longer detect a SINGLE mod that I have manually installed which in-turn Corrupts all of my saves. HadToRegister
Why did you try to use a mod manager for a game you had manually installed mods? The only way to corrupt your saves, is to load them one at a time with no mods, or the wrong mods, them save them all one at a time.If you want to use Vortex, you should use it on a game you haven't already modded. BigBizkit
Vortex, like any other mod manager, can only "detect" mods that it is actually managing itself i.e. mods you have installed with Vortex. Vortex cannot automagically detect and take over mods you had installed manually. In the same vein, Vortex will not just magically remove manually installed mods. Did you check if your plugins are still enabled? The game should be telling you if they have been disabled since you last loaded a given save game.
