batesmotel34
Is the Helm of Tohan different from a normal Adamantium helm? (I have Tribunal so have adamantium armor available but have never gotten around to loading the Helm of Tohan mod.) I was surprised when I first ran into an adamantium helm and decided to go for a full set of adamantium armor based on that. I was disappointed when I later realized that the adantium helm has a substantially higher armor rating than the other adamantium armor pieces, especially after all the running around my first Tribunal character did to get enough adamantium ore to make the armor. My current character is using an adamantium helm for its armor class and enchantment points (and it's open faced), daedric gauntlets for enchantment points (and looks), the cuirass of the saviour (replaced a daedric cuirass with a CE fortify intelligence enchantment), a daedric tower shield (with CE fortify strength), and glass elsewhere. The character is argonian so no boots (although I own both Boots of blinding speed and boots of the apostle :-() and needed an open hellm. Highest armor skill is light. Since the character is a nightblad (en assassin/thief) my armor skills in general are lagging somewhat since I tend to avoid fair fights where an opponent can get a swing back at me. Much of armor skills, esp. medium and heavy, were training rather than use enhanced.
Camonna
If you still want to have a good medium armour I would go with Royal Guard armour

Kethruch
Do you do mods? If so, the Japanese armor in the Japanese house mod is the best basic medium armor I've seen.
Camonna
In GOTY Nordic mail IS heavy armour!!!! I have the Xbox version
Malchik
All right, I think I see what has happened. Sludgewort you are misreading Marxist's post. He is not saying the armour was changed away from being heavy in the patch but changed to make it heavy. GOTY has the patch and therefore he is saying Nordic Armour is heavy in the GOTY edition, as it is in the European edition too. So there is no argument and no need for you to keep posting. Is this now clear?

Malchik
Okay, I will but if anyone has any comparative medium armour ratings, I'll happily re-open it.
