shadow7x
I have around 50 mods in my PC .. I've installed FO4 and vortex in my laptop , copied all the files from staging folder in my PC to laptop.now the vortex in my laptop has broken down the original mods into several mods and it's all confusing , I can't reinstall mods either. Is it possible to export mods as zip from my PC to laptop
anjenthedog
Fwiw, Vortex apparently keeps a copy of each mod that is installed using Vortex intact as an archived source (ie, in their original format as .7z or zip or whatever). Location: (User)/AppData/Roaming/Vortex/downloads/skyrimse They're as good as the original since that's what they are. Of course, they don't have any descriptions or other details, so at least for me, I've taken to creating local archives of mods I like, which include all the potential source files, the presented descriptions, and accompanying images. Sometimes I even cut-paste some of the posts tab content for good measure. Saves discovering a few months downstream, that the author "has decided to stop playing skyrim" and so deleted everything, closed their account, and Nexus compliantly deleted even the discussion threads for the mod. HadToRegister
You need to backup all the files and folders that pertain to Vortex in your APPDATA folder so that Vortex will have all of the mod info.
