oTBurstTo
ok so I downloaded 50 mods everything was fine, then I download the enhanced character edit se mod with 3 others required for another mod but it was incompatible with some mods I already downloaded. I disabled the mod, uninstalled it on Vortex but now I get script extender plugins errors (errors reported: -charactermakingextender.....: reported as incompatible during query). After that it suggest me to deploy my mods, i do it and it says mod files were changed outside vortex. You can undo these changes now or apply them permanently. Source files were deleted save will remove the files and revert will restore them. Either option makes no difference, and now a File Busy pops up in my screen saying vortex needs acces to "D:\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\ Special Edition\data\EnhancedCharacterEdit.esp" but its open in another application. Please close the file in all other applications and then retry. It does the same thing for 3 different other mods and it says at the bottom: Please close the following applications and retry: Skyrim (12224) Skyrim (4104) Skyrim (4804) Skyrim(14724). On top of that if I launch my skse64 loader to play my modded skyrim, it just loads and loads and loads, nothing happens. Also the mod I deleted: character edit se, is in my files but I cant delete it because it says its open in another application. Please help me if you can thats about all the info I could get by myself on this issue.
HadToRegister
Open up your task manager and check if something else has the ESP open.Such as SSEedit, or the CK or even maybe Skyrim is still running
