Switched Vortex one day, now its threatening to delete my mods?

In order to help you I need to know:

Is that "games specific hard drive" an external drive?

If yes, are you attaching it to different partition letters?

Can you please send us your Vortex logs or use https://pastebin.com/ to show them to us.

You can find your Vortex log in C:\Users\YOURUSER\AppData\Roaming\Vortex

 

No, its not an external drive.

No, I havent done anything to the partition letters, neither has windows as I have several old games that are registry-dependant and those havent given me any trouble, so that is highly unlikely.

 

I think the logs are these ones? there were 5 Text files, the "logs" folder was empty so I assume its these ones, I put them all into a .7zip folder: https://www.mediafire.com/file/2nr8djugxpun128/Vortex.7z

If you miss NMM that much, then just click on the DOWNLOAD VORTEX button and scroll to the bottom of the page and pick the COMMUNITY RELEASE

Yeah, except I migrated my load orders and links to Vortex a while ago and rebinding/redownloading the links in Nexus Manager will take A LONG time, not to mention I have to plan for the space those mods are going to ocuppy in the hard drive.

 

Thanks though, I didnt knew the Manager was still community-curated, your passive-aggressive response might be what I end up doing as an option given Vortex's wonkiness, thanks for letting me know.

To answer your question:

 

As far as Vortex can tell the mods have already been deleted or moved outside the staging folder. Applying those changes would not delete the mods (they're already gone/have been moved out side of Vortex's control) but put the staging folder back in sync.

*Phew* you were right, clicking "Apply Changes" did nothing at all, my mods are still were I left them, and Vortex didnt delete anything this time around, thanks for taking the time to look at the log, that had me scared for a while there.
