StairFacts
I've been having this issue for about a week ever since I started modding Greedfall, but whenever I attempt to deploy mods, uninstall them, or switch games (basically anything requiring the UAC prompt), I am met with an infinite load on the current attempted process after confirming the prompt. I have done everything I can think of to get rid of this issue, trying out the most recent versions of Vortex, uninstalling and reinstalling completely, checking logs, etc. Vortex used to work for me a month or two ago when I last installed mods to a game, and yet now it refuses to cooperate. Does anyone else have any experience with fixing this issue? I am on Windows 10, and I am not running the program as an administrator, as suggested. My file structure has not changed since the last successful use of Vortex, and all my games compatible with Vortex behave this way now. I have checked logs and no errors are reported to be occuring whatsoever.

HadToRegister
I'm assuming that Greedfall uses the Symlink Deployment method if it's giving the UAC prompt. Can you check if it's set to Symlink in SETTINGS-->MODS-------->Deployment Method
HadToRegister
Also, do you have your games installed in the Program Files (x86) folder? Are you using Window Defender? If so, turn off "Controlled Folder Access"
StairFacts
Yeah, the deployment method is Symlink Deployment, I can't change it either. Also Controlled Folder Access was already disabled by default. Also, do you have your games installed in the Program Files (x86) folder? Are you using Window Defender? HadToRegister
Is it installed to the Program Files (x86) folder?BEcause Windows 10 is really protective of that folder, and we get tons of people with permission problems between Vortex and Program Files (x86) folder
