  1. 1. I want these video games to be added on the Nexus website because various mod websites closed down or are ceasing to get updated.

    • Yes please add them
    • No I don't care if a Nexus website is added for those video games

I made this topic today because I was referred to it a couple of weeks ago in a private message from Buddha said this was the place to discuss it.

These are the video games I will list that are already moddable they have a few mod websites but they cease to exist now and are not updated anymore or update rarely and I believe should get a Nexus website.

Unreal Gold, Unreal Tournament, Unreal Tournament 2003, Unreal Tournament 2004, Unreal Tournament 3 (III), Half-Life, Half-Lif 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, Counter-Strike, Counter-Strike: Source, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Portal, Portal 2, left 4 Dead, Left 4 Dead 2, Red Orchestra: Osfront 41-45, Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad, Red Orchestra 2: (Expansion Pack coming out soon) Rising Storm, Call of Duty, Call of Duty: Expansion Pack United Offensive, Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, Call of Duty: World at War, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 (Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 does not have mod support modders make mods for it using 3rd party software if you use mods on multiplayer you get banned but not on singleplayer up to Dark0ne if he wants to open up a Nexus website for this one), Call of Duty: Black Ops, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Command & Conquer: Tiberiun Sun, Command & Conquer: Tiberiun Sun Expansion Pack Firestorm, Command & Conquer: Red Alert, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2, Command * Conquer: Red Alert 2 Expansion Pack Yuri's Revenge, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars, Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars Expansion Pack Kane's Wrath, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Expansion Pack Uprising, Killing Floor, Gears of War, Serious Sam 3: BFE, Garry's Mod, Natural Selection II, Civilization V, Blocks that Matter, Naval War Arctic Circle Nexuiz, Colour Blind, Train Simulator 2013,

I will update the list with more video games that I find that have mod support.

I would also like to see Dark0ne's comment and opinion.

If I recall correctly, a new site is added if Dark0ne personally likes it, and the game itself has modding capability. I don't think a poll would sway Dark0ne's mind.

Civilization series is covered quite well by the Civfanatics site, although I must admit, the site is rather cluttered and hard to navigate compared with the Nexus.

You've also come up with a massive list of games, which essentially means a single server per game. If I recall correctly, the last figure Dark0ne put on this entire site's running costs was upwards of £180,000 a year or something like that, might be wrong, I couldn't find the thread.

I wonder ... does Dark0ne make a pretty penny out of all this?

I would hope so. He's put a lot of work and effort making this the wonderful place that it is. I would most certainly not begrudge him a living off of it.

Why does it matter if the Call of Duty crowd is here? Isn't the Nexus website for adding a Nexus website for video games that are moddable and have mod support and mod tools?

Also the way you listed every video game in bullet point I would have done that if I knew how if I put a period it won't work did you use Microsoft Word or something?
