earthdude
I've been using the Update Mods option within Vortex and it mostly seems to work pretty well. There are some issues though, which are annoyances; nothing game/Vortex breaking.1. Sometimes it says a mod is available to update... with the same exact version number. I go to the mod page and my download is the current download. In fact, sometimes the mod hasn't been updated in years! 2. There are mods that have odd version numbers (ranges of numbers are reported). Not sure where this comes from. The mod that Vortex thinks is the newer mod is actually the currently used mod. I'm wondering if maybe there could be a check to compare the mod update date with the download date of the Vortex managed mod? This might address at least some of these cases. JimmyRJump
Most mod managers like NMM and Vortex get confused when the mod version in the header of the mod page doesn't correspond to what's next to the mod on the download tab. I personally never update any mods through the mod manager because it WILL lead to confusion and errors on the user's part and a possible clusterf*#@ in the game...
