slainia
That's definitely interesting, ishara.I haven't played yet today - working on my mod. Radiant raimant now actually looks like a sewing shop. complete with barrels of wool and - gasp! - a spinning wheel you can steal. *giggles* I still swear the ck has changed some, at least in creating items with new meshes. It now seems like a completely one-step process, but it probably is just my memory. lol. So far on this end things have been smooth for me, but what i do is mostly just put new small objects in the game, so it's not very intensive. How've other people been findin the ck? Is it ok for them?Forgot to note it i think, but i copy-pasted a fix for the ck hearthfire/dawnguard issues where it refused to load multiple masters, or didn't recognise the bsas for those 2. Linked to the thread itself, too, so I hope that's ok.
Solongchu
I found that I can cut down on my crash issues but putting pcb in the console every hour or two to clean up excess memory and can play almost crash free all day.
IsharaMeradin
Forgot to note it i think, but i copy-pasted a fix for the ck hearthfire/dawnguard issues where it refused to load multiple masters, or didn't recognise the bsas for those 2. Linked to the thread itself, too, so I hope that's ok. Part of that information is linked in my signature file. The line about multiple master loads is required for using another esp file as a parent mod. If you are doing serious editing you'll want the multiple editor line changed too (see same link in sig). It's really nice to be able to have two CK's open when trying to see how one mod did something that you want to replicate. I personally haven't had any issues since the CK updated. Haven't found anything strange either.
ginnyfizz
I have found a bug that I never had before. Usually I have been able to enter the College of Winterhold by demonstrating that I am the Dragonborn and Fus Ro Dah - ing Faralda. Tonight I couldn't. When I used the shout on her she just kept saying that thing about she'd be interested to see me demonstrating the power of the Voice. Over and over. AND she made me cast a Fear spell on the symbol instead.
IsharaMeradin
I never knew she asked about having the voice demonstrated before. I'll have to see if I can find that line of dialog the next time I go to the college and try to join it.

Made me buy her spell, no way around it.
Carah
I'm not sure if this is a bug from the new update, but I noticed it when 1.8 was installed my character freezes in combat mode. I can still move around but the animation is stuck. To fix it I sheath my weapon. I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

If you don't go to the College until after you learn you need an Elder Scroll, then you can use the Voice to get in so you can consult the librarian. This provides a way into the College for non-mages who are only there to pursue the main quest. However, if you get there earlier, presumably because you want to follow the College questline, then your only option is to demo a spell. There are a couple of places in the College quests where you can use a Shout in place of a spell. For example, in Saarthal you can use a Shout on the amulet wall instead of following Tolfdir's suggestion to try a spell.
IsharaMeradin
Found something that I thought was a bug cause I'd never seen it before or heard of it before. I thought it was "fixed" when I removed the USKP as that was the only thing I had that could have possibly touched on the situation. Turned out that exiting the game is what "fixed" the problem. But it is still 100% reproducable with or without mods. Break into Belethor's (it was between 6 am & 7 am game time for me), he will force greet you even if he is still asleep, leave, wait for the store to open, he will have no stock, check back throughout the day and he will have no stock. After 24 hours have passed (next game day) he will have stock again. Do the same thing but get caught, pay the bounty and he won't have stock for that 24 hour period. The latter makes sense, the first doesn't. If you don't actually get caught then you shouldn't be penalized. A force greet doesn't mean you are caught, it means you passed over some trigger which makes an audio file play.
slainia
Actually i've heard about this bug. i'll see if i can find it, someone made a mod to fix it. they thought it might be caused by another mod, but didn't know what it might've been. this might be what you're dealing with. worth a look anyway as a fix, if it works.
