genapsy
I'm Modding Dragon Age: Ultimate Edition, and to make the enable/disable commands more reliable i moved my c/users/documents/bioware/dragonage to e/games/bioware/dragonage. and the game works fine, but now how can i get vortex to recognize/adjust the change of drives/folders? The path input has to be at the game directory at e/steam/.../dragonage

The path input has to be at the game directory at e/steam/.../dragonage Did you move the path using VORTEX? Or did you move the Path outside of Vortex, using WIndows explorer so now Vortex has no idea where the folder is? Never mind, you were talking about the GAME folder. HadToRegister
Click on GAMES->MANAGED----------->find Dragon Age, click on the little + sign in the corner of the Game Box, and pick MANUALLY SET LOCATION.Browse to the FOLDER, and click SELECT, you're not browsing for the EXE so don't worry if the folder looks empty, it only cares about where the FOLDER is for Dragon Age
genapsy
no no, i have the path for the .exe for the game folder. the mods install location for DAO is in the documents folder, and i dont know how to tell or trick vortex into changing that location.when i did as you wrote, it gives me error:"This directory doesn't appear to contain the gameusually you need to select the top level game directory, containing the following files:bin_ship/daorigins.exe"

genapsy
I have my mod staging folder set in the e drive as its own folder, vortex (e/vortex/DAO), with the vortex exe elsewhere. the problem i have is that vortex auto determined that the correct mod injecting folder is the documents where normally it should be, and i cant find a way to change that determination. Did the game recently update?BEcause the same thing happens to the Sims 4, they keep moving the exe to different directories, and then the Vortex Extension needs to be updated
genapsy
nope, the way DAo is set up originally is that all non bioware code is added into its documents and loaded from there when the game is launched, and it is possible for that folder to be repathed from there for the game. but i cant for the life of me figure out how to tell vortex that i moved it, it still feeds the "added" mods into the documents folder.
