Uzibeatle
EDIT.Afterrunning a tracert it appears the problem must be with my ISP (Comcast Houston) not knowing thepath. I get host not found errors with tracert as well. Can someone post the IP of fs1.fallout3.nexus.com and I can try plugging that in instead? When I clicked on downloadhttp://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/dl....Texture-337.rar which is a regular (Texas)server Firefox can't find the site fs1.fallout3nexus.com Everything was working okay weeks prior so it is nto here. I double checked my hosts fileto see if that was it and nope it was not. No, not changed my firewall either. The site must be there I can see the user count changing on the download page here. Dark0ne
The file servers are different servers to the web server. Think of it like a spider diagram, with the web server in the middle and the file servers as linked extensions from the web server. At the moment the links between the web server and the file servers are severed and while the paste has been applied to fix the links, it'll take a little time for it to dry ;)

I am glad you explained it like that since I am mechanically dysfunctional to the extreme. History degree you know. :)
buddah
There is also a variable for dns server updates.....mine is way slow, and I can't download files in excess of 2megs. This should self resolve over time as the dns server crawlers finish updating and allow the redirects to process....just normal growing pains a little inconvenient but understandable for a site of this size.
