ravensm785
ok so i know a few people have alread posted this problem but i cant seem to find a fix anywhere with that heres my spec windows 10 - updated as of this momentAsus Prime - z270-pi7700k - no embedded gpu1050 ti oc 4 gb ram - updated as of this moment16 gb ddr4 ram256 gb sata ssd2 tb of sata hardrivebios - 1205, which when checked on the manufacturer website is the latest one there is no reason why the game should no detect my gpu...its the only one on my system, there is no embedded gpu, and yes theres an out put port on the motherboard but the cpu doesnt have a gpu. most people i have found, if not all, seem to have a hard time convincing the game to read the installed gpu and not the embedded gpu. i cant see it affecting my gameplay as i just use bethini to tweak the settings anyways but my ocd would really like it if i could get the games orginal function to work Edited December 28, 2019 by ravensm785

Grospolina
It's not a laptop, so it's not something that you need to worry about. As you've evidently figured out, the i7-7700k does have an embedded GPU. However, it's only used by the output from your motherboard. Assuming you've connected your monitor to the output on the 1050 Ti, then that's the card that it's using. It's different on laptops because they can share the same ports. I think Skyrim has trouble detecting 10xx and higher cards. You could check Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\skyrimprefs.ini to see what video card it thinks it's using. The only problem with cards that it doesn't recognize is that it sets everything to low. Since you're already using BethINI, everything should be fine. c0ax599
I got a EVGA 1050ti 4gb ram also. Same thing. I tried to solve it once... Also no luck. I just set the setting on high and forget about it ...
