Roro747du95
Hi everyone! So I've been using my new pc since a few days, and I've installed vortex on it. The thing is, it regularly starts acting weird, with black and white patterns appearing all over it. Words become unreadable, and the window becomes increasingly buggy. The errors usually disappear when I put my mouse cursor over them.Took some screenshots to show you guys!https://prntscr.com/qnfjbkhttps://prntscr.com/qnfjm7Thinking about drivers issues, but I've updated them! Any clues please? Also, the bug occurs on a few other softwares, like LOOTThanks for your help!
Solution Pickysaurus Posted January 14, 2020 Solution Share Posted January 14, 2020 This is usually caused by your FXAA settings. See here for more info https://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/Frequently_Asked_Questions#Why_is_Vortex_blurry?
Tannin42
UIs often use the gpu for improved performance and may thus be affected by graphics settings like anti aliasing as Picky mentioned. The effect you're seeing is quite a bit more extreme than I would expect from the FXAA setting but yeah, it's probably related to one of your global graphics settings or a broken driver or other software that interferes with rendering (stuff like fraps or tools that promise magic performance improvements).Alternatively you can go to settings->interface and disable "gpu acceleration" but this won't help with tools that don't have such a setting. Roro747du95
Thanks guys, it worked! Very good to know, I didn't think FXAA would interfere with stuff other than games. Thanks again!
