Bluelion4 Posted November 14, 2012 Share Posted November 14, 2012 Hello all, Basically I'm having a fairly annoying reoccuring CTD when entering an exterior zone that contains Bilegulch mine, as soon as I get to the mine the game instantly CTD's. This zone seems to stretch to a large portion of Western Falkreath hold and the South Eastern areas of The Reach. I have tried disabling mods to no avial and have tried a few fixes such as unnofficial patches for all DLC's I am using. I have done the 3GB switch using the command prompt which seemed to help some people and that also failed.I've even cleaned up all my mods using TESVEdit and the problem still persists. I wonder if there is anyone out there who can help me resolve this issue. I'll put a list of mods I am using along with the latest papyrus log that I took with these mods installed below. Have you checked to make sure all of your mods are compatible with the patch and with your DLCs?Have you tried validating your game files through steam? Are you using BOSS for loading order? I'm on Patch 1.8.151.0.7, as for the mods I am indeed using BOSS for the load order (I got that set up when I had the first few CTD's) I have checked and updated the majority of them but there are a few that do not mention being incompatible with the latest patch, even the user comments don't point to any other errors aside from the usual incompatibility with other mods that I'm not using. I haven't actually tried validating the game files through steam though, so that could be worth a try. Edit:Just validated the game files, apparently there were 4 files that failed to validate, so steam is now reacquiring them... hopefully this sorts it out! Some had rockcairn...nif files as a problem which they said might be due to Parallax or a texture optimizer. Others said a skeleton.nif was the culprit. Another said they had to increase virtual memory for their 32 bit Windows. Another said they went coc qasmoke, pcb, and then player.resetinventory. And then there was the corrupted saves. Now I'm trying a clean install because 1 or more failed to validate, this failed to validate file even persisted when steam said it would reacquire the files. Hopefully this will solve the problem.
