Today I almost did know the meaning of hate

Last month I did convince the only pc games vendor shop in the city manager to get me a copy of fallout 3.

He seemed pleased in being able to satisfy such a faithful customer and indeed he ringed me today my eagerly wished copy had arrived...

So, all hurry and expectations, there I go to be received by a lovable and friendly smile that promptly lead me to my latest dream of consumption...

And there it was, a shinning, beautiful, luring and long desired box... Fallout 3 FOR PS3...

I got stuck in the place, lost amid the crazily hysteric laugh attack and the bloody destructive desire to put some innocent shelves down.

So I boldly asked in truant voice as loud as a angered hamster: Didn't you get the PC version?

...

...

The irony is the game is already available in the Caribbean version for a awhile... being Brazilian, theoretically, I shouldn't have scruples against using that version, but I have, at least until something I'll pay almost 3x the original cost turns out so difficult to get :verymad:

So dudes, count me not among the merry fellows of the wasteland... yet

Ohh... That's unfortunate mate. I feel for ya'.

Something similar happened to me once as well. I preprdered a copy of Oblivion, waited for it anxiously for days, and even waited outside for the truck the day it was scheduled to come. Then, when it finally did come, THE GAME DISK WAS BLANK!!! >:(

Ah well. That's what returns are for.

Cheers,

I'm beginning to get used to it. The night before the last new year eve my PSU broke... So the only regular shop I knew to have one with my specs closed all day (maybe a explain is needed here, I don't know how things are around there, but here in Brazil is common place the business to close after noon at the eve and not opening by morning in the day after the new year). That shop choose to close by all day in the eve and function the whole day after. So, the last hope was the shop in the mart, not the better choice, but...

So I call them and ask for a PSU with at least 650W RMS ... and to my surprise and joy the girl answer they had it...

I drive to it and after some shoving here and there the car finds a place to park. And there I go...

All the shop staff had get out on trip and just two girls were in charge (I think they hired them to the event)

After being told I was the guy that ringed for a PSU one of the couple got into the shop entrails and came back with the box and the smile...

"That one is yet better" ...

and handed me a 1kW Voltage stabilizer...

Ahh, You shall be spared to hear about that whole year's end 'tragedy' that began with my brother in law shorting down the electrical energy and so started a marathon of misfortunes that shames that book...Lemony Snicket's... if I recall the name :)

PS: needless to say he was so drunk that keeping him from trying to 'fix' the mess was a worthy deed itself (We was hosting a family encounter and a big party). Now I know the witches are for real and they have a wicked sense of humor.
