Group Support

Right so I am not used to vortex at all. I tried watching videos on how it does its thing and in theory it sounds awesome, but I am having issues.

 

First off, I can't really tell which mods are supposed to go in which group as some group names are vague af. There should be a lighting category, though I'm not sure where I'd place that in this web. Nothing for weather as well.

 

The LO I use for Xbox also seems to place things in a much diff order than what vortex shows.

 

If anyone has some sort of file they can share that I can put into vortex that will organize my stuff better or just lmk what cats the following should go in.

 

1. Texture files and new items. Armor, Weapons, etc.

2. iNeed

3. Reverb & Ambiance

4. ClimatesOfTamriel

5. Campfire

6. ELFX

 

I'm not sure if these are core mods, very early mods, etc. The way its worded could be done much better. or if everyone could agree on the best way to organize mod groups. Every list I see always says the other is trash and is doing it wrong. So.. always helpful.

Don't put Mods in Groups, Groups are another Method of Sorting.
You only use Groups as a Last Resort.

Just leave everything in the group they were put in by Vortex.

They were put in those groups for a reason, not for organizational purposes

 

If you start messing with groups you're going to get super frustrated if you start manually sorting your load order (which you shouldn't need to do)
