flarth
I can download and install mods, but as soon as I try to 'Elevate', it asks for admin access, the loading bar gets about half way done, and then cancels. The following message is displayed: Deployment InterruptedSymlinks on your system can only be created by an elevated process and your system just refused/failed to run the process elevated with no error message. Please check your system setting regarding User Access Control or use a different deployment method. I have used vortex and NMM without issue for Skyrim and Stardew Valley, but this is entirely different. The issue began after the initial game download got stuck at 3/4 and I closed and re-opened nexus. EDIT: UpdateUpon further investigation, this error is mirrored across all games, even ones untouched for over a year. Further more, I am unable to remove mods and purging seems to be entirely ineffective.

flarth
It seems enabling UAC fixed the issue. Thanks a ton! If there's someway I could add reputation to your profile, I'll gladly do so. Have a good one.
SnakeManEater
This didn't work for me. I have the same exact issue but for Stardew Valley. My UAC is enabled and Controlled Folder Access is not.
