Heyas Nekris.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. But you'll have a better chance of getting help with the problem, if you post in the FalloutNV tech support forums.

Or you can click on the ! Report button straight down from your name and explain to the staff that you've posted in the wrong section of the site, and would like to have it moved to the support forums for Fallout NV.

Good luck with getting it fixed.

A crash when fast-travelling is usually a loading issue and loading issues are often related to RAM use, or more to the point, running out of RAM while loading the assets of the environment you're going to wind-up at. The problem with assets and RAM use for FNV are more game-engine related. Oblivion and Fallout 3 were still more or less okay on the Gamebryo engine but Fallout New Vegas should never have been released on that engine because of the scope the developers were aiming at.

I myself am a mod nut and tend to load the game with everything you can throw at it. But, if that involves quite a few texture mods you rapidly reach the edge of what the Gamebryo engine is capable of. I ran into similar issues pretty quick, not only when fast-travelling but whenever my character changed cells. Loading and crashing until I toned down on the texture sizes and mods number in general.

i understand i know that fallout nv is a mess that was rushed and all that history but i never though it would be this type of problem related to textures and its good to know i do use character overhaul a texture mod that changes the characters/npcs textures and EVE that enhances textures as well too but well i think its the only 2 mods i have for texture mods so if i getting this i might need to have only 1 texture mod installed and thats it? because i do have installed the 4gb patch installed and all these ''anti-crash'' mods/plugins installed and still the issue but as you can see i do not have 10000 mods installed but well i guess i will try play without these texture mods installed and see what will happen i appreciate your attention and help.

You do not mention if you are using the 4GB Patch with the Steam version or if you are using the GOG version instead (which already has that patch applied), but without it a 32-bit game like FNV is allocated only 2GB of memory from your system RAM. If that is the case, you will run out of memory very quickly with that collection of mods.

* If you are using the full 4GB of memory (the max a 32-bit game can address), most likely your CTD problem (now or in the future) is the default "heap size" is too small. It's so common you might as well deal with it now. Please see the 'Issue: CTD without warning, "Out of Memory error", or stops responding after the Main Menu') entry in the 'Solutions to "Crash To Desktop" (CTD) problems' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.

* You can also get "out of memory" errors from the graphics system (which is separate from exhausting system memory), even with the game 4GB enabled. The video pipeline is known to have "memory leaks", and these occur faster with "beautification mods". Here the cause is a combination of larger image sizes ("higher resolutions", aka "hi-rez"), hi-rez texture packs for skin, hair, clothes, weapons, and landscape; along with mods that increase the number of NPCS in a given cell. (All those hi-rez texture "personal accessories" get multiplied by the number of Actors.) Please see the wiki "Display resolution versus Image Size" article. While "ENBoost" can help, you may need to switch to lower resolution/ smaller sized images or even lower quality in your game graphics configuration.

* Move any "inactive/disabled" plugins out of the game "Data" folder. They count against the "plugin cap" because they get loaded by the game engine if found, and can cause "Missing Master" problems. Please see the wiki "Missing Masters" article if you get that error message.

I notice the "FalloutNV_lang.esp" plugin. That is not needed unless you are playing the game in a language other than English. If so, that is important information you need to include when reporting a problem, as many mods are not compatible of some regional language versions (notably the German "non-gore" version) due to different record IDs.

Anytime the game "Crashes to the Desktop" (CTD) it's typically going to generate an error message in the Windows Eventlog. Please see the "Windows Error Messages" section of the wiki "How to read most Bethesda game error logs" article.

I recommend anyone read the entire "FNV General Mod Use Advice" article to understand the differences between this game and others you may have experience with; especially if this is your first attempt to play a modded FNV or it's been more than a year since you last did so. It is designed for someone who has never played a modded PC game before, so it tries to avoid making any assumptions, is kept "up-to-date", and covers years of "lessons learned".

Then look up particular issues in the sections of the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.
