SwoopsPSU
This may be a topic elsewhere. Please let me know if it has already been covered. I did not see it in the FAQ. I have been running Fallout 4 for a long time and have slowly added MODS as time has gone. Some are MODS from Beth-Soft. Some were from the MO days and some from NMM. I recently moved to Vortex. I like the new format and usage. However, in my hurry to setup Vortex, I installed my mods as quickly as possible. Some were imported obviously from NMM, some manually, and some are new. There are problems in game. NPC's not holding there weapons, random crashes, LAG, etc. I believe most of my issues are due to not installing in a good order and now the load orders are also all messed up. 1) Does anyone think it would be best to start from scratch and reinstall all mods?2) If so, is there a quick way to do this? The "Purge" button I know only removes them from deployment and does NOT uninstall them.3) If not, what is the best way to fix some of my issues? Another issue is in Building Mode. The old !FAILED LOOKUP! error. Even though the items are there to select from. I don't know if this matters or not, I'm pushing 180 installed mods. Thanks for the help in advance.Swoopsd
HadToRegister
Well, I'm using 316 mods with Skyrim SE, and I would suggest you start from scratch for the best, clean setup.I do tend to install mods one after the other as each gets installed, and then once I've finished installing everything, I do the Conflict Resolution etc.I would definitely suggest to start over, because you have mods from several different sources, and it'd be best to get them all into the same directory and install from there. You should be able to go to the MODS TAB, hit CTRL+A and select UNINSTALL all from the new menu that pops up at the bottom.Purging was a good first step.If you find that there is stuff still left over in your DATA folder afterwards, it would probably be easiest to delete the DATA folder and have steam re-verify your files. Also, if you have HUD mods installed, then you'll also have things in your INTERFACE FolderAlso check, DATA\F4SE\Plugtins folder
SwoopsPSU
I have HUD mods. Good tip there. The one was to make it work on Ultrawide monitors. Which is did work good, for a hot minute. Then something happened and it's all messed up again. Which has actually been the last straw. So one more big question. I don't want to re-download the mods. Do you know if the uninstall still saves the mods on the MOD folder? Or does it delete them as well? Thanks for the Pro-Help.

If you uninstall the MODS, the Mod Archives, remain in the Download Folder, to be used again and again etc.Only if you uninstall the Mod Manager and Delete the Mod Staging folder and Download folder would your mod archives be deleted, forcing you to redownload them
HadToRegister
Uninstalling the mods, Removes everything from the Mod Staging Folder, but leaves everything in the Downloads Folder, I.E. all the *zip, *.rar, *.7z files etc..
