Pupmon1
I'm not new to modding, I used to use NMM, but I haven't modded in a while. I thought I'd get Vortex on my new system so I downloaded from the site, never have before, clean everything. And it's not loading. It just sits on the loading bar forever without moving or doing much of anything. I don't know what to do and no previous topics are really helping, what do I do? HadToRegister
Go to the EXTENSIONS TAB, and see if the "Gamebryo Plugin Management" extension is enabled. While you're there, make sure all the Extensions are enabled. Also, don't run Vortex as an AdminDERP, of course you can't go to the EXTENSIONS TAB, because you can't load Vortex.Derp. Sorry about thatMake sure, if you use Windows Defender to turn off "Controlled Folder Access"
Pupmon1
I got it working, but how was a little weird. It may have been a problem with my computer specifically, I had to junk everything, including the installer, redownload that, install it, watch it get hung up somewhere else, just clean restarted my computer, and then it worked for some reason. I'm not sure why, but it's working now. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Sometimes, for whatever reason, Vortex will seem to install with a 'few pieces missing" from the install packages that are packaged with Vortex, and sometimes, just installing Vortex again, on top of itself, will fix the problem.
