starbound vortex directory error may be why the main menu crashes

^ I believe one of the starbound mods on nexus may be uploading itself with an error attached to it. And I have only 6 mods that are related to nexus. Was hopin' for some troubleshooting? This erroneous file may be the sole reason that when it loads, and gets to the main menu, it just crashes.

Have you tried reinstalling Vortex right over the top of the already installed Vortex?

I helped someone a few days ago with this exact problem, and a re-installation of Vortex fixed it.
